Dr. Andrew Kleiman is a Psychiatrist practicing in Winter Park, Florida. He has extensive training in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, and specializes in the comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment of adults. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry.
Dr. Kleiman earned his BA in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, and his Medical Degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and adult psychiatric residency training at New York University Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital where he also served as Chief Resident of Psychiatry. His fellowship training in Forensic Psychiatry was completed at New York University School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital.
He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Previously, he served as a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Kleiman is a Diplomat in Adult Psychiatry with added qualifications in Forensic Psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, Florida Psychiatric Society, American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and the Bellevue Psychiatric Society. Dr. Kleiman has functioned as a Medical Consultant and Author.
